The legendary American lifestyle brand Converse has opened its largest flagship store in India at the Phoenix Mall of Asia in Bengaluru.
The store, in partnership with Bhaane Group, marks the debut of the brand’s global customisation platform, Converse By You, in the country. The platform allows customers to personalise products using curated design components, limited-edition patches and locally inspired artwork.
The space focuses on creating an immersive consumer experience beyond traditional retail formats by combining elements such as skateboarding, art, music and youth culture. Key features include the ‘Play for Peace’, an interactive skateboard installation created by artist Ansh Kumar and a large-scale mural by Bengaluru-based artist Benson Diengdoh.
The store offers the brand’s core footwear lines, including the Chuck Taylor All Star and Chuck 70 collections, along with newer product ranges. Aside from the new flagship, the brand operates three other standalone Indian stores in Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata.
