In response to increased local demand for an even more convenient shopping experience with greater choice, Deliveroo has launched ‘Deliveroo Hop’, a new rapid grocery delivery service, in Hong Kong in partnership with PARKnSHOP.
This is a testament to the success of the company’s existing partnership with the supermarket chain. In June 2021, Deliveroo began working with PARKnSHOP, first cooperating with 50 of the superstore’s locations. The partnership has since experienced significant growth, adding 200 branches from which groceries and other essentials are delivered across the city in as little as 30 minutes.
Deliveroo is delighted that PARKnSHOP has come aboard to join hands once again and collaborate on Hop. Available through the Deliveroo app, the new service will be run from a delivery-only site and will offer rapid grocery delivery in as little as 10 minutes, as a complementary offering to Deliveroo’s existing, fast-growing grocery service. The service will benefit from a deep integration between Deliveroo’s newly-developed grocery management technology and the company’s logistics network of over 12,000 delivery riders across Hong Kong.
The first Hop store will open in Central, serving residents across Sai Ying Pun, Sheung Wan, Central, Mid-Levels and Admiralty. Deliveroo Hop will give rapid on-demand access to over 1,200 items from the grocery chain’s shops, including PARKnSHOP, FUSION, INTERNATIONAL and TASTE, from 7:30am-2am each day. Customers can order from a wide range of items; including condiments, essential grains, produce, meat, ready-to-microwave sets, fruits and veggies, beverages, biscuits and savoury treats, as well as personal care, health and beauty products, snacks for pets and home essentials.
