The UK’s largest physical luxury resale retailer, Designer Exchange, is continuing its expansion with the upcoming opening of a new store in Barcelona on 31 July, as demand for authenticated pre-owned luxury continues to accelerate.
The Barcelona store marks Designer Exchange’s second location in Spain, following the success of its Madrid store and reflects the brand’s continued investment in one of Europe’s fastest-growing luxury resale markets. The new 160sq m store joins the retailer’s existing network of stores in Knightsbridge, Manchester, Birmingham, Cheshire Oaks, Madrid and most recently, Newcastle.
Founded in 2013, Designer Exchange has built its reputation through a trusted buy, sell and exchange model, making luxury more accessible while extending the lifecycle of premium fashion. Customers can shop a constantly evolving selection of authenticated pre-owned handbags, accessories and ready-to-wear from some of the world’s most sought-after fashion houses, including Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci and Miu Miu.
Unlike traditional consignment platforms, Designer Exchange purchases luxury items directly from customers, offering immediate payment or an enhanced exchange voucher.
