Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has awarded the main construction contract for its AED3bn ($817M) DIFC Heights Tower, advancing plans for a landmark mixed-use development that will add luxury homes, offices and retail space in the heart of Dubai’s financial district.
The project, located on the final remaining plot within DIFC’ s original land bank, will deliver 366 luxury residences, premium commercial office space and retail and dining outlets, with completion targeted for 2029. The main construction contract has been awarded to Al Basti & Muktha LLC (ABM), marking a significant milestone in the development programme.
According to DIFC, the project supports the continued expansion of the financial centre as a global business and lifestyle destination while meeting growing demand for premium, centrally located urban living in Dubai.
The authority said the appointment of the main contractor keeps the project on track to meet its planned 2029 completion date and reflects its disciplined approach to delivering major developments.
A senior executive meeting was held to mark the contract award with His Excellency Arif Amiri, CEO, DIFC Authority, in the presence of Tushar Pathak, Chairman, Al Basti & Muktha LLC.
