Mohamed Alabbar, Founder and Chairman of UAE’s Eagle Hills, has presented the new luxury hotel The Bristol Bol on the Croatian island of Brač, saying that the group now owns 25 hotels in Croatia.
Featuring 94 rooms and suites, The Bristol Bol is located on the waterfront in the very centre of Bol, close to the harbour and one of Croatia’s best-known beaches, Zlatni Rat.
Alabbar also presented the new hotel in a video posted from Brač, highlighting the growth of Eagle Hills’ hotel portfolio in Croatia. “This is our newest hotel, one of our 25 hotels in Croatia,” Alabbar said in the video, adding that the company already operates several hotel properties on Brač.
The figure cited by Alabbar illustrates how significantly Eagle Hills has expanded its presence in Croatia’s tourism market in recent years, building a substantial hotel portfolio through the acquisition of Sunce Hoteli. The property is housed in a renovated building that forms part of the protected cultural heritage and is surrounded by a private park. Its facilities also include spa and wellness amenities, a swimming pool and a gastronomic concept based on Mediterranean and local cuisine.
The Bristol Bol is the second destination under The Bristol Hotels & Resorts brand, following the renovated The Bristol Belgrade, which opened in early 2025. With its arrival on Brač, The Bristol has expanded outside Serbia for the first time, as Eagle Hills continues to develop the brand as an international luxury hotel platform.
