Eat 17 adds vegan junk food producer to London Store

The new addition, opening in time for Veganuary, will operate from within the Eat 17 Walthamstow store. Customers will be able to order takeaway crispy fried jackfruit burgers with toppings including home blended vegan Bacun Jam, maple chipotle hot sauce and southern slaw.

The menu will also include crispy fried jackfruit ‘chicken wings’ featuring a sugarcane ‘bone’ and topped with a range of sauce blends, plus fries laden with toppings.

Biff’s Jack Shack was founded by partners Biff Burrows and Christa Bloom when Biff transitioned to a 100% vegan diet. The company opened its first permanent store at Boxpark in Shoreditch in October 2018 and has appeared on Channel 4 and BBC One, as well as featured in The Guardian, Independent, Metro, and Good Food magazine.

Christa Bloom, co-founder of Biff’s Jack Shack says about joining Eat 17, said: “We believe that everyone deserves banging vegan food in their lives and we believe that Walthamstow is going to be the new hot spot for plant-based eating this year.”

Biff’s will be opening on 17 January with a soft launch, with the full launch on 25 January.
