The Basque fashion and lifestyle brand continues to expand its presence in Spain. Following the recent opening of an outlet store in Seville, Ecoalf is now heading to the Levante region with the opening of a new flagship store in Valencia.
With a retail space of 165sq m, the new flagship store has been designed as a Mediterranean-inspired space, with a layout that evokes the marine environment through its architecture, materials and interior design. Here, Ecoalf offers a wide range of its men’s and women’s fashion and accessories collections, all produced with a sustainable approach.
The arrival in Valencia also represents a particularly significant milestone for the company, as it was in this city that Upcycling the Oceans was launched in 2015. This initiative, spearheaded by Ecoalf, aims to recover waste from the seabed in collaboration with local fishermen. What began on the Valencian coast has become an international project present in more than 80 ports in Spain, France, Greece, Italy and Egypt. Fifteen of these ports are located in the Valencian Community, where the program has facilitated the removal of more than 2.1 million kilograms of marine debris.
This opening marks Ecoalf’s first independent launch in Valencia, where until now its collections were sold exclusively through two corners in the El Corte Inglés department stores on Avenida de Francia and Pintor Sorolla. Its presence in the Valencian Community is further strengthened by another space in the Spanish department store chain in Alicante, while nationally it now boasts over fifteen of its own stores in locations such as Madrid, Barcelona and Bilbao.
