El Ganso Lands in Colombia

The brand continues to strengthen its commitment to Latin Americas as the fashion brand opens its first store in Colombia, located in the El Retiro shopping centre in Bogotá, officially marking its entry into the Colombian market.

The company announced the opening on 12 August as part of its international expansion strategy and its intention to bring its unique interpretation of Spanish fashion to new markets.

The arrival in Bogotá expands El Ganso’s international presence, which today combines its own stores, franchises, shop-in-shops and multi-brand distribution. Outside of Spain, El Ganso operates in markets such as France, Portugal, Mexico and Chile, while in Latin America it has accelerated its growth in partnership with the Panamanian Brand Management Group (BMG), with whom it has already launched in Ecuador, Panama and Peru and now in Colombia. The new store in El Retiro Park joins a global network that closed 2025 with around 180 points of sale and a turnover of nearly 78 million euros.

Founded in Madrid in 2004 by brothers Álvaro and Clemente Cebrián, El Ganso built its identity around a classic aesthetic with a British touch, casual and accessible. The first store opened in 2006 on Fuencarral Street in Madrid, after the founders spent the first few years developing the business through product development and the multi-brand channel. Jeremy Stanford sneakers then became one of the first symbols of the house and accompanied an expansion that, starting in 2011, took the brand to Paris and later to cities such as London, Lisbon, Santiago de Chile and Mexico City.
