Following a successful launch in London, Electric Playbox are now expanding their offering to Manchester.
Founded by Will Dean, Electric Playbox is a unique immersive digital adventure. Each Playbox is an interactive digital room that features projection mapping, touch screens, motion tracking and surround sound that accumulate to a 60 minute hyper-immersive adventure. The locations offer five different adventures: Temple of Coins tests guests dexterity, speed and vigilance; Ticket to Mars challenges guests to gather a selection of minerals; Rescue the Royals challenges team members to rescue the Queen; Alien Aptitude Test: New York ’87 and Alien Aptitude Test: London ’84 sees guests tackle alien invasions.
Dean comments on the key goals of Electric Playbox, one of these being to create a memorable experience that groups of friends or family can enjoy together and in times of hardship, this is more important than ever. He comments: “I believe in the importance of bringing people together. That was a key motivation behind Electric Playbox and my previous endeavours too.”
“I like the idea that we’re bringing people of all ages together and we’re giving them happy memories. When we talk about creating memories, we’re referring to shared memories.”
