“The project’s progress is gaining speed and we are growing our team as we prepare for the opening this autumn,” says
Marcel Herben, Centre Manager of Amsterdam The Style Outlets. “More than 50% of construction works are already
completed and leasing is progressing successfully with close to 80% of the GLA already committed. Numerous premium
sought-after firms are already on board, including a couple for which this will be their first Dutch outlet shop.”
The centre is set to become a must-visit retail destination. It boasts a savvy combination of a premium brand mix of
international and Dutch top brands (including some from Amsterdam), a village design that draws upon the best examples of
Dutch architecture, and high-quality hospitality management. Its exceptional location in the Randstad region, one of the most
densely populated regions in Europe, is one of the elements that makes this project unique. Amsterdam The Style Outlets will

able to reach the centre in 8 minutes from Amsterdam’s city centre by train, with a railway station next to the site.
Creating a first-class retail destination has been the essence of the project. Amsterdam The Style Outlets will feature
115 boutiques in 19,000 m² of GLA, including 1,000 m² dedicated to food & beverage with outdoor seating. The centre
will offer 1,950 parking spaces, 200 bike parking spots, and charging points for electric vehicles, all of it compressed into
a “small village” with little streets and squares. “We are designing a promenade destination where visitors can spend
quality time. Stores will resemble a dynamic mosaic of classic Dutch apartment buildings made of the main materials that
dominate the local architecture: brick, wood and glass,” says Herben.
Sustainability plays a core role in the design and construction of this centre, which will incorporate energy efficiency measures.
The centre has already received BREEAM New Construction certification in the design phase.
