The plans for the new concept were announced
by Hi Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin
Salman Crown Prince, Chairman of The Red Sea
Development Company.
Coral Bloom is set to become the main hub at
Shurayah Island, The Red Sea Development Company’s
ambitious regenerative tourism scheme. Coral Bloom
will protect and enhance Shurayah Island’s pristine
natural state. Biodiversity considerations continue to
take centre stage as the plan has been designed to avoid
disruption of the island’s mangroves and other habitats
while new habitats are created through landscaping to
enhance the island’s natural state.
There will be 11 hotels on Shurayrah, which will
be operated by some of the most distinguished hotel
brands in the world.
