he global hospitality sector has been hit hard by the COVID-19 crisis. Restaurants have stood empty for months and despite the
sector having gradually reopened its doors, the world in which the industry now finds itself has changed. The COVID-19 pandemic
and the resulting global lockdown have dramatically affected consumer behaviour and It will take time to adjust to a new normal,
        Trecover, and thrive once more.

RLI feels that it is now more prevalent than ever to recognise those concepts that have understood and responded to consumers’ changing
behaviours, reimagined the customer experience and re-engaged with customers to build and maintain their trust, whilst at the same time,
improving their operational agility and financial resilience to navigate the uncertainties of doing business in a world wracked by pandemic. In
consultation with ‘RLI Most Innovative F&B Concept’ Category Sponsor, We Love Food @ECE, we will be choosing six concepts that have
done just this, presenting them to our esteemed panel of Judges to select this year’s winner.
As they say It‘s all about emotion, entertainment and excitement. We will announce the finalists in the August issue of RLI and the Winner
will be announced in London on 23 September.
