The company has revealed a new signature lounge concept that will be rolled out across its global network this year.
The airline is investing more than $14M in each lounge as it seeks improvement. The redesigned lounges have already opened in Munich and Frankfurt, with new-look facilities set to launch in Manchester in July, Mauritius in August and Istanbul in October.
Each lounge will feature more than 50 design enhancements, including dedicated spaces for dining, working, relaxing and socialising.
The interiors incorporate marble and gold finishes, herringbone flooring and the Emirates Ghaf Tree motif.
Workspaces have been equipped with Italian eco-leather seating, wireless charging and universal power outlets at every seat and private meeting areas.
The new dining experience includes live cooking stations serving dishes prepared to order, rotating international buffets and regional specialities.
Emirates will also introduce a dedicated “Made In” section showcasing local cuisine, while a bread oven will produce freshly baked pizzas, flatbreads and manakeesh.
