The swimwear brand Eres, owned by Chanel and positioned in the luxury segment, sets up shop on Barcelona’s Paseo de Gracia, one of the shopping streets with the greatest power to attract premium brands.
The French swimwear brand has installed itself at number 106 of this Catalan commercial hub, as reported by the consultant Ascana, intermediary of the real estate operation, through its profile on the LinkedIn social network.
Eres is also present in Spain with a store on Calle Claudio Coello in Madrid and a space in El Corte Inglés de Castellana, where Fendi has just opened its first boutique in the capital.
Founded in 1968, Eres was acquired by Chanel in the 1990s and currently has Marie-Paule Minchelli as Creative Director. At the beginning of last spring, the luxury swimwear firm announced a collaboration with the Lebanese designer Maison Rabih Kayrouz, who thus entered the swimwear segment.
