Financial City Chengdu – MGallery Collection is Now Open

Designed by Australian design firm Stack Studio, the hotel takes inspiration from Tang Dynasty poet Zhang Ji’s Song of Chengdu and the imagery of “wandering into a hidden lychee grove”. A century-old local lychee tree welcomes guests in the lobby, while the seventh-floor Sky Garden creates a lush rooftop oasis above the city.

The 155 guestrooms and suites draw on the colours and atmosphere of Chengdu’s natural landscape, including river mists, mountain fogs and crimson sunsets, creating tranquil spaces for both business and leisure travellers.

Dining is centred around the Lychee Restaurant, serving local and international cuisine and Lychee Bar, offering MGallery signature cocktails and afternoon tea. The Sky Garden extends the experience outdoors with artisanal drinks and local flavours.

The property also features a modern fitness centre with panoramic windows and an outdoor terrace, alongside approximately 480sq m of flexible event space for corporate gatherings, banquets and private celebrations.

Sustainability is integrated throughout the hotel, including plastic-reduction measures, smart in-room energy management, energy-efficient building materials, water-saving fixtures and LED lighting.

The opening supports Accor’s wider expansion across Western China, with more than 230 operating hotels and over 140 properties in development across the region. MGallery currently has 10 hotels in China and is on track to double its Greater China portfolio by 2030, with further openings planned in destinations including Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Sanya and Lanxi.
