Marjan expects the first phase of earthworks at its Marjan Beach development in Ras Al Khaimah to finish within two months. Full delivery of the waterfront district will run across a 10-year programme.
Abdulla Al Abdouli, Group CEO of Marjan, confirmed the schedule as development activity accelerates across the 85 million square feet site. Wasl, OMNIYAT and BEYOND have already secured land within the masterplan.
Marjan launched Marjan Beach in October 2025 as a major mixed-use waterfront destination in Ras Al Khaimah. Eight neighbourhoods will occupy the masterplan, supported by residential, hospitality, commercial, civic and logistics districts.
Marjan has allocated 6.5 million square feet for open green space. Beach frontage extends for three kilometres. Planned capacity includes 22,000 residential units and 12,000 hotel keys.
Population capacity reaches about 74,000 residents, alongside a projected workforce of 32,000. Marjan expects the completed district to accommodate up to 180,000 visitors annually.
Abdulla Al Abdouli described delivery as a long-term construction programme. “It’s a 10-year full programme. But, you know, we are working on the first phase right now within the area,” he said.
