Five New Malls to Open Across Dubai

Dubai is set to add five community malls during the remainder of 2026, expanding retail capacity across Nad Al Sheba, Jumeirah, The Villa, Liwan and Sobha Hartland.

Dubai’s developers are concentrating new supply around residential catchments. Grocery anchors, restaurants, fitness operators, healthcare providers and family entertainment account for much of the planned tenant mix.

Dubai’s Shamal Holding will begin phased openings at The Grand in Nad Al Sheba Gardens on 19 August 2026. Waitrose and Partners will anchor the first phase through its first supermarket in Nad Al Sheba.

MMI, Heart Cottage Lane, Maple Bear Nursery, Al Jaber Optical and Fixperts are also scheduled to open during the initial stage.

September will bring a larger food and beverage line-up. Tasha’s, Somewhere, Home Bakery, Kokoro, Blu Pizzeria, Bake My Day and Daima form part of the tenant roster.

Staywell Pharmacy and Tips & Toes will add healthcare and personal care services. Fitcode and American Hospital are scheduled to join during early 2027.

Shamal Holding has fully leased the development ahead of launch. The Grand will serve Nad Al Sheba Gardens with grocery, dining, healthcare, fitness and daily retail services.
