Flabus Enters the Belgian Market

The Spanish shoe brand Flabus is continuing its growth strategy in physical retail and accelerating its expansion in the European market.

It recently took its first steps in Germany with its first standalone store in Berlin and is continuing its growth strategy in physical retail with the opening of two new spaces in Antwerp and Brussels, marking its first foray into Belgium.

The new stores are located at 36 Schuttershofstraat in Antwerp and 92A Avenue Louise in Brussels. Both locations feature the warm and colourful aesthetic that is the brand’s signature and offer a wide selection of its shoe collections.

In recent months, the brand has accelerated its international expansion. It recently opened a boutique on one of Cannes’ main shopping streets, as well as new locations in Peru and Mexico, thus strengthening its presence in Latin America. To support its global growth, the company has also just signed a financing agreement with Banco Santander to support the development of its store network. Over the past year, it has also reinforced its presence in its home country of Spain with the opening of a flagship store on Serrano Street in Madrid.

Founded in 2020 by Beatriz de los Mozos, Flabellus began online and specialisaes in footwear. It currently has five stores in Spain and several boutiques abroad in cities such as Berlin, New York, London, Paris, Milan, Lisbon, Mexico City and Lima. It is also distributed in over 40 markets through a network of more than 700 multi-brand retailers.
