The brand, bloobloom, has launched a brand new 900sq ft store in the world-renowned shopping destination Notting Hill.

Located at 172 Portobello Road, this marks bloobloom’s eighth opening in London, joining its growing line-up of stores in Canary Wharf, Carnaby, Covent Garden, King’s Road, Marylebone Village, White City and Spitalfields.

Inspired by the effortless elegance of Capri, the new Notting Hill store interior seamlessly blends Mediterranean warmth with quiet sophistication. The space features earthy terracotta floors and light-catching stucco walls, with Greek-style alcoves designed to frame the eyewear as sculptural art.

Balancing old-world romance with tactile texture, the store pairs a delicate French chandelier and natural linen drapery with handmade rustic pottery. Designed as a curated sensory experience, the space offers a sun-warmed, timeless escape in the heart of West London, mirroring the meticulous craftsmanship of the collection.

The full collection which features sunglasses and spectacles will be available to shop in store with prices starting from £99. The Notting Hill store will offer customers the full bloobloom experience from walk-in eye examinations with in-house opticians, adjustment and repair services as well as personalised style advice. The new store will include one testing room. All frames are handcrafted and made from sustainable materials.

Abbas Manai, Co-Founder at bloobloom says: “Opening in Notting Hill marks an exciting new chapter for bloobloom as we enter 2026. The neighbourhood is a world-renowned retail destination that perfectly mirrors our appreciation for craftsmanship and curated aesthetics. Bringing our quiet sophistication to such an iconic shopping hub allows us to share the bloobloom experience with a wider community while staying true to our mission of making high-quality and stylish eyewear more accessible. We look forward to welcoming both our loyal customers and new faces into a space that feels as much like a destination as it does a retail store.”
