Gerald Charles Opens in Seoul

Maison Gerald Charles announces its arrival in Seoul through its partner Rocca, marking the brand’s entry into one of Asia’s most dynamic luxury markets.

The opening is a testament to a partnership built on trust. Rocca, already Gerald Charles’ partner in Italy with three points of sale at Rocca Duomo in Milan, Porto Cervo in Sardinia and Turin, has chosen to take this relationship further, bringing the Maison to a country of key strategic importance.

South Korea stands today among the most influential cultural forces in the world, with its discerning, young and design-conscious clientele shows a growing appreciation for independent Haute Horlogerie, while Seoul has become a trendsetting capital whose influence resonates across Asia and beyond. A natural home for a Maison that celebrates creative freedom and bold design.

Seoul joins a growing Asian network that already counts six points of sale in Japan, including the Maison’s own boutique, two in Taiwan, two in Hong Kong and one in Singapore, markets where Gerald Charles has found an enthusiastic and discerning following. This new opening reflects the central role Asia plays in the Maison’s growth strategy.

The opening celebration welcomed Giorgio Damiani, Rocca’s owner and a close friend of Federico and Franco Ziviani, alongside prominent figures from the Korean creative scene. Among them was Nayeon, member of the global K-pop phenomenon TWICE and one of the most recognised faces of her generation, who chose the Mini Maestro Ice Blue. On her wrist, the piece’s luminous dial and fluid lines confirmed its status as an icon of contemporary elegance, true to Genta’s design legacy.

“Asia has always held a special place in Gérald Genta’s story. Collectors here were among the first to understand the audacity of his vision and that bond lives on today. Opening in Seoul alongside Rocca, a partner who shares our values, is a natural continuation of this legacy and an invitation to a new generation to discover the freedom of Genta’s design,” Federico Ziviani, Gerald Charles CEO.
