Giordano Mauritius Celebrates Opening New Store at Tribeca Central

Giordano Mauritius has welcomed its newest store at the gargantuan Tribeca Central, nestled in Trianon, opposite the Ebene Cybercity in the heart of the island nation.

Giordano Mauritius’s latest and largest store to date is located on the ground floor of Tribeca Mall, offering over 110m² of retail space. The store adopts the design direction set by Giordano Mauritius this year, providing for a sleeker, contemporary shop ambiance through clean, understated display arrangements, more distinct product zoning, and optimized lighting. The store is also equipped with a wider entrance to welcome Giordano customers, fully utilizing the additional space.

Mark Loynd, Executive Director and Head of Overseas Market Development at Giordano International Limited, commented: “My colleagues and I travelled to Mauritius towards the end of 2019 to set up our first store at the Riche Terre Mall. A mere three years down the road, and we are now opening our eighth store. Not only that, but to partake in such an aspirational, premium retail project like Tribeca Central lays testament to the belief, commitment, and prowess of our local franchise partners, to whom we are extremely grateful”.

The self-professed largest and most beautiful mall in the Indian Ocean is designed by Benoy and Gensler, the masterminds behind the likes of Westfield London, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, ION & Jewel Changi Singapore, IFC Seoul, and Shanghai Tower. Boasting an area of over 150,000m², Tribeca Central is a mega mixed-life project with premium offices, shopping and entertainment venues, housing, accommodation, sports and cultural areas. The mall itself comes with an area of over 80,000m² and serves up a double-level shopping experience, with a singular vision of becoming the ultimate retail, dining, and entertainment destination in Mauritius.

The Tribeca Central store joins Giordano’s existing portfolio of shops in Mauritius located at the Bagatelle Mall, Riche Terre Mall, Victoria Urban Terminal, Cascavelle Shopping Village, Plaisance Shopping Mall, Rose Hill and Curepipe, respectively.
