London-based bookseller Goldsboro Books is expanding into Southeast Asia by opening its first permanent international retail outlet in Malaysia.
The Goldsboro Room is set to open on 27 August at The Library by BookXcess, Sunway Square Mall, Bandar Sunway, in Selangor.
According to local sources, the 13sq m space will be modelled on the bookseller’s flagship store on Cecil Court in London and will offer signed first editions, limited editions and collectible hardbacks from Goldsboro Books’ specialist selection.
The partnership with BookXcess marks Goldsboro Books’ first permanent retail presence outside the UK. Founded in 1999, the London bookseller specialises in signed and collectible editions.
