Guess Renews Designer Outlet Algarve Presence

The well-known American brand has a new home at Designer Outlet Algarve in Loulé, after reopening its doors in the centre.

The new outlet boasts a renovated space that reflects the brand’s evolution and reinforces its commitment to a more distinctive shopping experience.

The renovation process includes updating the store’s concept and layout to facilitate customer journeys, explains Designer Outlet Algarve in a statement, adding that the space is “more contemporary, intuitive and aligned with Guess’ global identity”.

Spanning over 300sq m, the store brings together clothing and accessories for women, men and children. Founded by the Marciano brothers in the early 1980s, Guess was largely acquired by Authentic Brands Group (ABG) in January of this year, following the completion of the acquisition of 51 per cent of the intellectual property of the group’s brands, marking the departure of the American company from the New York Stock Exchange.

In turn, Designer Outlet Algarve, which opened in 2017 and is operated by ROS Retail Outlet Shopping, is integrated into a shopping complex that includes the IKEA Loulé store and Mar Shopping Algarve. In 2024, the centre began an expansion project aimed at adding approximately 4,000sq m of Gross Leasable Area (GLA), allowing it to accommodate 25 new stores. Currently, its portfolio includes brands such as Boss, Michael Kors, Levi’s, Calvin Klein, Lanidor, Bimba y Lola, Diesel and Gant, among others.
