Hawkers enters the segment of prescription glasses with the opening of its first store in Calle Fuencarral in Madrid. The company, specialized until now in sunglasses with strategies of online marketing and growth hacking, plans to open 11 establishments in different cities of Spain in the coming months.
The new Hawkers store, the brand’s first flagship that combines sun and professional optics, will follow its omnichannel strategy that allows consumers to access the purchase in both physical stores and through the web. After this inauguration, the company will launch other points of sale in the Xanadú Shopping Center – Madrid, the Puerto Venecia Shopping Center – Zaragoza, as well as in Donosti stores – San Sebastián, La Coruña, Valencia, Oviedo, Barcelona – La Rambla de Catalunya, León, Salamanca, Granada and Mallorca .
The Hawkers optics will cover all the corrective needs, offering single vision, bifocal, progressive, occupational glasses, prescription sunglasses and any solution necessary for the client’s graduation. The collection consists of 24 models (14 acetate, 6 metal and 4 mixed acetate and stainless steel), which cover a total of 125 references of different colors. The company will expand its offer with five models for children, which will be available in three different sizes in summer.
The minimum price of the glasses will be 69.99 euros in the case of monofocal and 119.99 euros in the case of progressive . In addition, anti-reflective, anti-dust and anti-scratch treatments will be carried out without added cost; and reduction of the thickness of the glass of the lenses in the high graduations. The customer can also collect the glasses at 48 hours of purchase at the store or receive them at home in a maximum of 48 to 72 hours.
The Hawkers eyeglasses project has the endorsement of the Prats Group, whose centers in Barcelona and Madrid will be manufacturing and beveling.
