Hermes announced on Thursday the reopening of its expanded and renovated store in Bangkok’s Central Embassy.
With its sleek, curvilinear façade rising above the city’s skyline, the store draws inspiration from Bangkok’s rich cultural heritage. The facade is characterized by lacquered champagne-colored panels reminiscent of bamboo stems, which filter shifting daylight into the space.
Inside, the two-story boutique welcomes visitors with the signature Hermès Faubourg mosaic entrance floor in soft caramel and cream tones. The ground floor showcases beauty, fragrances, and women’s silks in a central curved nook, alongside fashion jewelry, equestrian pieces, home collections, and a leather goods area.
A terracotta terrazzo staircase leads to the first floor, where women’s and men’s ready-to-wear collections take center stage, along with Men’s silk. The shoe universe is displayed against bold graphic rugs that face the jewelry and watches salon.
Designed by Parisian architecture firm RDAI, the renovated store offers a calm and immersive shopping experience. Wood screens, locally crafted carpets, and a shimmering color palette create a harmonious flow, blending Hermès’ hallmark details.
Completing the space is artwork including galloping horse sculptures by French artist Marie Christophe, abstract geometric illustrations by Cécile Baillot-Jourdan, and black-and-white photography by Tadzio.
The renovated boutique is one of three Hermès locations in Bangkok.
