French luxury goods maker Hermes has reopened its Hanoi boutique at a new address on Trang Tien Street.
The store had operated for years at its previous location but was moved into an Art Deco building in a central commercial area of the capital.
The space occupies multiple floors and is designed to display the full range of Hermes’s 16 métiers, from leather goods and fashion to accessories, under one roof.
Interior design for the relocated store was handled by Paris-based architecture firm RDAI. The building features large windows and an open layout designed to maximise the use of natural light.
Hermes first entered the Vietnamese market in 2008 and operates additional locations, including a store in Ho Chi Minh City’s Union Square. The launch is part of its plan to accelerate expansion in Southeast Asia.
In November, the luxury giant also reopened its store in Bangkok’s IconSiam mall with a larger, redesigned space that reflects the capital’s fast-growing appetite for luxury retail.
