Dubai cloud kitchen firm iKcon, which currently operates 10 facilities in the UAE has raised $5m in new funds.
iKcon has closed a round of $5million in funding which was led by Azran VC, AlTouq Group and Nazer Group, it has now secured $10million since its inception. The funding is expected to fuel regional expansion and technology builds.
Founded in Dubai in early 2019 to tap into a demand for food delivery across the Middle East, the company operates 10 cloud kitchens in the UAE and has plans to start operations in Saudi Arabia towards the end of the year with further plans to expand in other countries through 2021.
