Intu Lakeside is the fourth and final Intu Mall under the aegis of Intu SGS to move to new management.
Savills have become the mall’s new Property Manager while Global Mutual has been appointed as its Asset Manager. Savills has a long UK track record in managing prime; high-profile retail destinations while the new Asset Manager Global Mutual already has £5bn of assets in its portfolio.
Intu Lakeside is one of the UK’s top 10 shopping centres with annual pre-Covid footfall figures of over 20 million guests. The mall is home to 250 stores including a number of top brands and the H Beauty Store by Harrods. The mall enjoyed a £72M leisure extension with the focal point being a Nickelodeon.
The shopping centre will still be known as Intu Lakeside for now, however a post on Lakeside’s social media revealed that a new name could be expected soon.
