Jessica McCormack Unveils Second US Store

The British diamond jewellery brand Jessica McCormack is opening its second US store at South Coast Plaza, following its first American boutique opening on Madison Avenue last year.

The London-based brand’s first West Coast location spans 1,600sq ft and brings the brand’s “residential, antique-meets-modern world” to the Californian luxury shopping precinct.

Designed in collaboration with British residential architects, the South Coast Plaza boutique draws from the original Victorian flagship at 7 Carlos Place in Mayfair, bringing together antique furniture, contemporary art and collected treasures such as Mauny’s hand-printed wallpapers, inspired by 18th and 19th-century historical revivals, alongside artworks including Wilhelmina Barns-Graham’s Porthmeor (Wind Movement) (1996) and fabrics by Pierre Frey and Lee Jofa.

Inside, shoppers will also find Jessica McCormack’s signature ‘Day Diamonds’, including one-of-a-kind creations and new collections.

“Wearability has always been at the heart of how I design – pieces meant to be worn every day, not saved for occasions. California already knows how to do that instinctively; there’s an effortless quality to how people dress here that I’ve always admired and it’s exactly the world I want Day Diamonds to live in,” said Jessica McCormack.

“Since we opened our first US store in NYC last year, we have seen an overwhelming demand from clients in California – who now drive our largest volume of web orders globally and are our fastest-growing segment on social media,” said Leonie Brantberg, CEO, Jessica McCormack. “We wanted to give that audience the real experience: the chance to see the collection and the craftsmanship behind it in person. South Coast Plaza is one of the most important destinations for luxury shopping on the West Coast, built on a genuine commitment to excellence – and thoughtful curations of brands and we’re excited to be in this company.”
