London Designer Outlet (LDO) has announced that lifestyle brand Kate Spade will be arriving later this year after it signed a five-year lease for a 1,341sq ft unit.
The American fashion house founded in 1993 is known for its iconic handbags which are sold around the world as well as its range of accessories, jewellery, womenswear and shoes.
At LDO, Kate Spade will be located alongside other globally recognised brands such as Boss, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Guess and Kurt Geiger, as the outlet destination continues to curate a mix of premium and aspirational fashion and accessories labels, alongside contemporary and popular lifestyle and homeware brands.
The arrival of Kate Spade follows the recent announcement that premium international cookware brand Le Creuset will also be opening at LDO later this year.
Both Kate Spade and Le Creuset adds to LDO’s line-up of high quality brands and both will benefit from the retail destination’s diverse, affluent and highly engaged shopper who seek premium brands at discount prices.
Matt Slade, Retail Director at Quintain, said: “Aspirational lifestyle brands such as Kate Spade perform extremely well at LDO thanks to our proximity to one of London’s fastest growing communities of young professionals, thriving families and international students. This combined with the year-round high footfall of domestic and international tourists who visit Wembley for world-class cultural, sporting and musical events mean our brands are the best performing in their categories and regions. This is why we are seeing huge interest from international brands such as Kate Spade and Le Creuset eager to occupy space at LDO and we look forward to announcing more exciting arrivals in the weeks to come.”
