The upgrading and modernization process at the KING CROSS Zagreb shopping centre has reached a significant stage of its development.
Late last month saw the reopening of the first part of the mall building that has been fully renovated and modernised in recent months during ongoing business activities.
The owner SES, which also operates the shopping centre itself, will have invested a total of over €40M in the complete refurbishment of KING CROSS by fall next year. This also includes raising the standard of the technical facilities and parking garages to a new high level. The upgrade will transform the location step by step into the most modern shopping destination in the country – all while continuing normal operation.
The highlight of the opening, alongside the new anchor tenants Müller Drogerie and the fashion provider Sinsay, the largest and most modern Decathlon in Croatia is the popular flagship store of the new design.
The comprehensive modernisation of KING CROSS Zagreb pursues a clear vision: to create a sustainable, innovative and attractive shopping experience for every generation. In the final rollout, the new concept will offer not only visibly improved retail areas and architectural measures, but also a unique gastronomic zone plus a central piazza that is set to become a new meeting place for Zagreb.
