Kopi Kenangan, the Indonesian Coffee Chain, Opens in Taiwan

Indonesian coffee chain Kopi Kenangan has entered Taiwan with the opening of its first store at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi A11 in Taipei, as it continues to expand beyond its home market.

The launch follows the brand’s earlier international entries into Australia and India last year.

“This is just the start of our journey here, and we couldn’t have picked a better place to begin,” the company said in a social media post.

Founded in 2017, Kopi Kenangan is known for its affordable grab-and-go coffee, featuring Indonesian beans and its signature palm sugar (gula aren). Its menu includes core offerings such as the Kenangan Latte, Spanish Latte, and Americano.

Backed by B Capital, the company has grown to more than 1000 outlets across Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, India, and the Philippines.
