The premium Swiss chocolatier, Läderach, which is renowned for its unparalleled freshness and artisanal craftsmanship, has announced the opening of a new site at Broadgate Central.
Located in the heart of the City, the Broadgate opening underscores Läderach’s ambitious UK growth strategy, building on the success of its existing nine London locations including Regent Street, Canary Wharf, Covent Garden, St Pancras International, King’s Road, High Street Kensington, Westfield and concessions in Harrods and Selfridges. The new site places Läderach at the centre of a dynamic hub frequented by office workers, commuters and visitors alike and the brand’s second foray into East London.
The Broadgate Central chocolaterie will offer Läderach’s full range of handcrafted chocolate creations, including its iconic FrischSchoggi (fresh chocolate) counter, where large chocolate slabs are snapped by hand and sold by weight. Customers will also be able to explore an extensive selection of pralines, truffles, Mini Mousses, tablet bars, chocolate popcorn and seasonal collections – all crafted bean-to-bar in Switzerland and finished by hand.
Stephan Stegen, UK General Manager of Läderach, commented: “The opening of our Broadgate Central store marks another exciting milestone for Läderach in the UK. This is our 11th store nationwide and a fantastic new location in the City of London, allowing us to bring our fresh, artisanal Swiss chocolate to an area with a strong daily footfall and a real appreciation for premium quality. This vibrant location sits at the crossroads of work, leisure and culture in the city, making it the perfect setting to introduce even more customers to the Läderach experience. Demand for our fresh, artisan Swiss chocolate continues to grow and this opening represents another exciting step in our UK journey.”
