Located at the newly opened department store and mall, Shinsaibashi Parco, this is the brand’s second boutique located in Osaka.
The boutique is located on the ground floor of the mall and boasts an area of 1,399sq ft. The aesthetic for the store was first introduced in a gypsum-cast at the brand’s Artisanal Autumn/Winter 2018 Paris show.
The surfaces of the plaster walls have each been individually hand-cast and evoke the sight of fabric texture and sculpting dents. The natural colour and texture of the walls are a nod to the brand and their overall aesthetic. Misfit furniture is utilised throughout the store and the technique of decortique has been utilised in the shelves, display tables and seats that have been carved in stained travertine.
Starkly contrasting the light and neutral tones of the store, the ceilings and walls of the fitting rooms are painted glossy dark-green.
The store features men’s and women’s apparel, accessories, shoes and fragrances.
