The dedicated retail space will help those retailers affected by the global pandemic and social unrest in America.
Occupying a space of 5000sq ft on Level 2 South of Mall of America, Community Commons has been designed to help those retail brands who have been hardest hit by the ongoing effects of the Coronavirus and social unrest bought about by the killing of George Floyd. The space will consist of 17 shops selling apparel and accessories, art and culture, food and beverage, personal care and family gifts. The space will be free to retailers and tenants will remain in place through to Spring 2021.
“Mall of America joins the efforts to help rebuild the hearts, minds, and livelihoods of our diverse retail community.” commented Jill Renslow, Executive VP of Business Development and Marketing at Mall of America. She goes on to comment that she hopes this scheme would introduce guests “to an even greater slice of what our retail community has to offer beyond the doors of Mall of America.”
A selection of brands that are participating in this scheme have been revealed and these include Urban 29, Art Piece Soul Gallery & Studio, Captain Rebel, Fabulous Diva Boutique, La Michoacana Purepecha and Llakta.
