Manahatta is set to undergo a major revamp, transforming one of Greek Street’s most iconic venues into the ideal place for after-work drinks, late-night parties, weekend celebrations and everything in between.
Temporarily closing from 13th-25th September, the venue will be refreshed from the outside in, marking its 10th anniversary.
Inspired by the beat of New York, big city vibes will be present in every aspect of the refreshed site, including the brand-new bar area, which will be illuminated with new lighting and signage and completely levelled, giving guests the chance to enjoy the space without inhibition, whatever the occasion.
New seating will create more space for guests, with cushioned, diner-style benches and booths being added by the windows. The outdoor space is also being updated with new awnings and umbrellas, inspired by New York’s streetscape.
The venue will be brought to life with new mood lighting and a refreshed colour palette including a mix of green, red brick and earthy tones designed to create a relaxing atmosphere whatever the occasion.
Perfect for an out-of-office lunch, post-work drinks, Manahatta’s famous late-night parties and more, guests will be welcomed into the new space that will transition seamlessly from day into night, for those not quite ready to leave.
Whether enjoying cosy conversations or making moves on the dance floor, bar-goers will be able to enjoy new music playlists and sip on a new drinks menu including cocktails such as the Watermelon & Coconut Margarita and the Apple and Lychee Martini.
The refurbishment will extend to the customer facilities, with the toilets receiving a full makeover following the opening. Additional cubicles will be added to the ladies’ toilets, increasing capacity and creating more space to make best friends for the evening.
