Equipped to venture and expand further, the recent formation of its holding company, Marina Retail Corporation, is a testament to its continued commitment to enrich home-grown retail experiences. In preparation of future expansion and as part of the rebrand, the entire UAE operations of the business has relocated to a state-of-the-art headquarters in Jebel Ali Free Zone, bringing together both its corporate teams as well as logistics and warehouse under one roof.

“This was done to create a great work environment for all our co-workers and provide a perfect work-life balance,” explains Marina Retail Corporation Co-Founder Khurshid Vakil. “The 40,000sq ft work space has been designed to allow natural light to every corner, evoking a real sense of freedom. Key features in the new work space include a cafeteria, which serves a healthy five-course lunch every day, entertainment areas which includes snooker and table tennis tables, a fully equipped gymnasium with showers, a 75-seater theatre, whilst a large koi pond in the massive double height lobby adds to the very sense of belonging.”

Given the current market sentiment and the geo-political affairs affecting all economies in the region the company continues its robust growth plan across the Middle East and beyond. Brand Marina Home enjoys a very unique position in the market place and its singular appeal continues to draw new footfall into its showrooms.
“In our quest to provide a shopping experience like no other, we strive to surprise the customers at all times. The story-telling in the way products are featured, product quality and design, the service standards, store design, media brand campaigns etc are a continuous effort to evolve year-on-year,” explains Vakil. The most recent showroom to open was a 37,000sq ft standalone iconic flagship in Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The new opening has already acquired many accolades and awards at the highest level and is a beacon of Marina Home’s journey so far.
