The retailer has invested €300,000 in renovating the store to ensure a convenient and modernised shopping experience for customers. The store, located in a residential area, will offer customers the option to purchase products for daily needs as well as special occasions.

The 166 square-metre store offers the Meistara Marka range of to-go meals, a large assortment of fresh fruit and vegetables, and a host of other products. It is the first of the five new stores that the retailer plans to launch this month in the country. Four other outlets are scheduled to open in Rūjiena, Daugavpils, and Riga on 19 December. Maxima has invested more than €1.5 million in the five stores, which will create 53 new jobs.
