Mayoral Accelerates Latin America Expansion

The Malaga-based children’s fashion company is accelerating its growth in Latin America. As part of its expansion plan across the Atlantic, Mayoral has opened a new store in the Parque Arauco shopping centre in Santiago, Chile, its second location in the Chilean market.

The new store has been designed in line with the brand’s classic aesthetic, featuring a minimalist interior that incorporates details related to the world of children. The store sells Mayoral’s collections for boys and girls aged 0 to 16, with a range of products covering the different stages of growth.

With this opening, Mayoral strengthens its presence in Chile, where it already had a store in the Plaza Egaña shopping centre. The company also completes its commercial presence in Latin America with four points of sale in Mexico. Globally, the group ended 2025 with a network of 382 physical stores, including both company-owned and franchised locations.

With over 80 years of history, the Mayoral Group’s portfolio includes, in addition to its eponymous brand, Boston, specialising in menswear and Bria, geared towards women and launched earlier this year following the liquidation of Hug&Clau. The Malaga-based company closed fiscal year 2025 with a turnover of €352M, four per cent less than the previous year, in a year marked by declining sales in international markets and measures aimed at increasing operational efficiency.
