MINISO Launches One Piece Pop-Up in Canada

Opened on 9 August at Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga, the immersive retail experience is the latest stop on MINISO’s global tour of the One Piece collection.

Following successful pop-ups in Asia and the US, the Mississauga pop-up store paves the way for MINISO’s continued expansion in North America.

Running through 7 September, the Mississauga pop-up store is designed to fully immerse fans in the world of One Piece. Inspired by a ship cabin design, the store features a 21ft-tall sail installation and life-sized standees of all ten members of the Straw Hat Crew. The space offers a themed shopping journey that blends MINISO’s innovative pop-up store design with iconic One Piece elements.

Inside, fans can explore over 230 officially licensed One Piece products from MINISO across a wide range of categories inspired by the latest Egghead arc. The collection features updated designs for all ten Straw Hat Crew members and merges classic character elements with new storylines. Highlights include stylised figurines (known as “goods”), acrylic stands, badges and holographic cards, as well as lifestyle essentials like water bottles, blankets, plush keychains, blind boxes, slippers, tote bags, phone cases and umbrellas, each bringing the spirit of One Piece into everyday life.

MINISO’s One Piece pop-up marks a milestone moment for the brand in Canada – not only as its first-ever themed pop-up store in the country, but also as a powerful showcase of MINISO’s growing brand presence and retail innovation. As part of MINISO’s global One Piece collection spanning over 70 countries and regions, this activation highlights the brand’s commitment to bringing joyful, immersive experiences to Canadian consumers through its Super IP Strategy – combining beloved franchises with design-led retail to deliver worldwide.
