Naomi Campbell opens fashion for relief pop-up store in Westfield London

Last night, Naomi Campbell opened her exclusive Fashion For Relief designer pop-up store at Westfield London. A host of celebrity guests and influencers were in attendance to show their support including Boy George, Laura Whitmore, Patricia Bright, and more.

Located in the heart of Westfield London – The Atrium – the Fashion For Relief pop-up opens officially today until Sunday 8th December, and will be raising funds for education and employability programmes for young people, in support of Mayor’s Fund for London.

This is Naomi’s fourth Fashion For Relief pop-up store with Westfield London – with the first one opening its doors 10 years ago. Coveted items on sale include one-off celebrity donations such as a gown by Dame Twiggy, a hat worn by Boy George, autographed running spikes by Dina Asher-Smith, dresses by Yasmin Le Bon, and more. Vivienne Westwood, Gucci, Versace, Alaïa, Fendi, Chanel, Saint Laurent, Dior, Tom Ford, Moncler, Marni, Off White, Chloé, Lanvin, Loewe, JW Anderson, Victoria Beckham, Thom Browne, AMI, Christian Louboutin, Fornasetti, are just some of the top brands who have generously donated fashion and lifestyle items for sale.

Siobhan Bell and Snoochie Shy hit the decks, taking the party to a whole new level whilst guests enjoyed canapes and cocktails, and shopped to raise money for the charity. Throughout the opening period, the store will also stock some limited-edition items found nowhere else, such as bespoke Alexander McQueen T-shirts, Fashion For Relief silk scarves by Chrome Hearts, and autographed copies of Naomi Campbell’s latest i-D magazine cover.

As part of Naomi’s ongoing commitment to support emerging talent, the pop-up store will also open its space for takeovers by emerging designers showcased at the British Fashion Council’s LONDON show ROOMS in Paris, who will showcase their creations.  Don’t miss an opportunity to check out the future stars of fashion: Matty Bovan (26 November) – who is nominated for British Emerging Talent Womenswear at The Fashion Awards 2019, Roberta Einer (29 November) and NABIL NAYAL (6 December). ByCircus, a beauty pop-up opening at Westfield London will also be hosting beauty sessions including makeup tutorials from Glo & Ray (6 December) in return for donation, in addition to a Christmas cocktail event to get consumers in the festive spirit.

Founded by Naomi in 2005, Fashion For Relief has raised millions for disaster relief and humanitarian causes around the world. The charity is dedicated to improving the lives of those living in adversity by uniting the fashion industry as a force for good. The focus of this year’s Fashion For Relief fundraiser is on education and employability programs. This is also a key focus for Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield centres which supports a number of employment and training schemes for Londoners and currently generate 32,000 jobs in the capital.

The store is filled with designer pieces donated by global brands, as well as some of my generous friends and family in the industry. It has been a joint effort to put this pop-up store together in order to raise funds for young Londoners, so I want to thank everyone who has contributed.”

The British Fashion Council will be honouring Naomi with the Fashion Icon Award at The Fashion Awards 2019, taking place at the Royal Albert Hall, London, on 2 December. The award is in recognition of her incredible contribution to the fashion industry, her world-renowned career as a supermodel, as well as her philanthropic work with charities, and incredible efforts in creating a more diverse and equal future.
