The Dubai-based retailer Union Coop has opened its 26th branch in a ‘Community Residential’ project in Al Habiya, Motor City.
Union Coop – the largest consumer cooperative in the UAE, has opened its new Community Residential Mall consisting of its 26th hypermarket branch, 28 commercial stores and 44 residential apartments in the Al Habiya area, covering an area of 493,977sq ft. With the opening of the new centre, the number of Union Coop hypermarkets in Dubai has now reached 26.
Regarding the details of the new project she continued, there are 249 car parking spaces on the basement and ground floor and 28 shops on the ground and first floor covering an area of 24,391 sq. ft. The signature Union Coop hypermarket is on the first floor covering an area of 54,766 sq. ft. and the project includes 44 residential apartments, 22 on each floor. The apartments vary from 1 BHK, 2 BHK to 3 BHK flats with facilities like a swimming pool, gaming area .etc. on the terrace.
Shops have been rented to businesses such as restaurants, cafes, salons, pharmacies and perfume shops etc. attending to the requirements of the region. Similarly, there are shops on the first floor near the showroom as well. The procedures for renting residential apartments that are distinguished by their size, design, and views of the main street, the swimming pool areas, and the children’s play area have been initiated.
