The global value fashion and home retailer will make its Georgia debut on 8 September, opening a store at the super-regional Sugarloaf Mills outlet centre in Lawrenceville, a northeastern suburb of Atlanta.
The new store will span more than 26,000sq ft and be followed by a second Georgia location in Augusta on 10 September at Augusta Mall. That store will span 28,000sq ft. The openings will bring Primark’s US footprint to 48 locations.
The entry into Georgia is just the latest expansion for Primark. On 3 September, the brand will open its first store in Minnesota, at Mall of America in Bloomington. In July, it opened its first store in Indiana, at Castleton Square Mall in Indianapolis.
“Primark is excited for a busy week in Georgia as it opens not one but two new stores in the state. We can’t wait to open doors and offer area residents Primark’s signature combination of trending style and everyday essentials, all at affordable prices,” said Kevin Tulip, President of Primark US. “We know that Primark’s outstanding value is more important than ever to today’s consumers and we’re looking forward to welcoming customers in the culturally rich and historic city of Augusta.”
Primark offers its customers trend-forward fashion looks and everyday essentials at affordable prices, including women’s denim starting at $12, men’s tees at $5 and girl’s and boy’s sweatshirts at $8. Visitors at the Georgia locations will also be able to find apparel from their favourite Atlanta sports teams, such as the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Hawks.
