International fashion retailer Primark has made its UAE debut with the opening of its first store in Dubai Mall, marking a significant step in its global expansion and entry into its 19th market.
The launch, in partnership with Alshaya Group, signals the start of a wider regional rollout, with additional stores planned across Dubai and the Middle East in 2026.
The flagship store spans more than 60,000 sq. ft of retail space across a single sales floor and will employ 600 staff, offering a broad range of fashion and lifestyle products at the value-driven price point the brand is known for.
Located in Dubai Mall, the store features womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, home and beauty ranges, alongside exclusive collaborations with brands including Disney, NBA and NFL. Shoppers will also have access to Primark’s premium range, The Edit, across multiple categories.
The store was officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by John Hadden, CEO of Alshaya Group, Her Excellency, Alison Milton, the Irish Ambassador to the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait, and Ghansham Pindoria, Vice President of Primark Middle East.
