Printworks Manchester has secured a new food and beverage occupier set to open its doors this summer with the arrival of Shrimp Shack, marking the brand’s first location outside of London.
Spread across 6,600sq ft, the cult-followed seafood concept, which has built an established following at its London sites, will bring its signature high-energy, accessible dining experience out of the capital for the very first time.
Founded on a mission to make bold, flavour-led seafood more accessible to consumers, Shrimp Shack delivers a casual, yet exciting dining concept curated to appeal to a broad consumer base. The brand’s Manchester debut will further strengthen Printworks’ diverse entertainment and dining offering.
At the heart of the Shrimp Shack experience is signature seafood boils, including the Shrimp Boil, Seafood Boil and Lux Lobster Boil, combining generous portions with classic accompaniments, all served in the brand’s signature secret sauces. The menu is complemented by a Shack Savers Selection, which offers a range of premium dishes at a competitive price point, alongside a dedicated lunch menu designed to pull in daytime footfall.
The arrival of Shrimp Shack reflects continued momentum at Printworks Manchester, which has seen sustained growth in visitor numbers following its £27M transformation and repositioning as a leading experiential leisure destination.
Dan Davis, General Manager at Printworks, said: “Securing Shrimp Shack’s first regional location is another strong indicator of Printworks being a perfect platform for ambitious, fast-growing brands looking to expand beyond London. Its distinctive offer and broad consumer appeal will further enhance our food and beverage line-up, supporting our strategy to deliver high-quality, experience-led concepts that drive repeat custom.”
Rish Gola, Co-Founder of Shrimp Shack, added: “Expanding into Manchester is a major step for Shrimp Shack as we endeavour to grow beyond the capital. Printworks’ central location offers the ideal setting for our first regional site with the destination’s scale and focus on experience aligning perfectly with our brand and we can’t wait to introduce our take on bold, accessible seafood dining to Mancunians.”
