Specialist kitchenware brand ProCook is the latest in a recent flurry of lettings at Derbion after it signed a lease to occupy a 2,241sq ft space at the East Midland’s leading retail and leisure destination.
The new Derbion store will mark ProCook’s first ever Derby location and will showcase the brand’s latest store design, creating an inspiring and welcoming space for customers to explore its full range of kitchen and dining products.
The signing of ProCook follows a run of new leasing announcements at Derbion with Superdry & Co, independent toy store BarnDawg, bakery school Dew and health and beauty specialists Savers, Thérapie and Royal Oud joining the centre’s line-up. These recent lettings, alongside the openings of Bodycare and Bath and Body Works, highlight the strong demand Derbion continues to see from both independent local retailers and international brands.
This increased interest comes at an exciting time for Derby with several major development projects taking place which will add to the residential, business and cultural mix helping to create a vibrant city centre. Meanwhile, the city’s selection as the future national headquarters for Great British Railways and reputation as one of the UK’s manufacturing hotspots, supported by anchors such as Rolls Royce, Alstrom and Infinity Park Derby technology hub, is helping to fuel job creation and drive spend potential.
Beth McDonald, Managing Director at Derbion said: “ProCook becomes the latest brand to select Derbion for its flagship location in the East Midlands, cementing our position as the go-to destination for retailers in the region. The addition of ProCook follows an action-packed couple of months for our leasing and asset management team as we continue to refresh our line-up to curate a diverse tenant mix which caters for people of all ages.”
