Redevelopment to Begin at Lincoln Square Shopping Centre

Trademark Property Company and Harrison Street Asset Management are set to begin work on Anthem, a transformational redevelopment of the 43-year-old Lincoln Square shopping centre in Arlington, Texas.

The 43-acre development is scheduled to break ground on 3 August, with completion slated for early 2028.

After demolition of 70,000sq ft, Anthem is expected to feature 404,000sq ft of retail, food & beverage, public spaces and entertainment space upon completion. Trademark is in final lease negotiations with more than 35,000sq ft of retail and food and beverage tenants, many of which will be new to the market, according to the company.

The firms are joint venture partners on the $135M redevelopment, with InterBank providing refinancing and construction financing for the project. The property has been designed with “future-proofing” in mind, says Trademark, allowing for the potential integration of mixed-use components as market opportunities evolve.

“With the addition of meaningful projects like the National Medal of Honor Museum and the expansion of the entertainment district near AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field, North Arlington has been on a meteoric rise over the last decade,” said Terry Montesi, CEO and Founder of Trademark. “Anthem – formerly Lincoln Square – has been a staple of this community for more than 40 years and we’re honoured that the City of Arlington trusted us to take this strategic development to the next level.”

Trademark will lead a full renovation on the property, including improvements to walkability and connectivity, as well as increased surface parking, all new facades and new branding and signage. The plans for Anthem also feature a public green space, a curated public art program, outdoor seating, bike racks and event programming.

“We’re excited to partner with Trademark on the redevelopment of Anthem, a project that reflects our shared vision for creating vibrant, community-focused destinations in high-growth markets,” said Nathan Rogatz, Director at Harrison Street Asset Management. “With Arlington’s continued population growth and expanding entertainment district, we believe Anthem is well positioned to become a premier destination that will serve residents and visitors for years to come.”
