A luxury, digitally-native apparel brand known for its relaxed, flattering silhouettes, comfortable fit and contemporary, effortless aesthetic has touched down in New York City.
Ruti has opened a flagship on Madison Avenue on the Upper East Side of Manhattan as part of its US retail expansion. The sleek store, which joins the company’s existing five locations in California, is designed to reflect the brand’s commitment to architectural restraint and purposeful design.
The flagship house Ruti’s full assortment, including its top-selling travel-ready styles and everyday essentials. It also features the brand’s cult-favourite “On The Loose Work Pant”. The wrinkle-free, barrel-legged trousers, which sell for $249, have gained significant traction across social media and grown into a viral sensation. The pant ranked as the #1 product on ShopMy’s Top 100 list for May.
Founded online in 2009 by designer, entrepreneur and tech executive Ruti Zisser, the brand was built around the idea that women deserve clothes that make getting dressed easier. In a blog on the company’s website, Zisser said she has three rules for design: “It must be cool. It must be flattering. It must be practical.”
“One of the greatest privileges of my work is getting to make women happy,” said Zisser. “Knowing that something we’ve designed can help a woman feel more confident never stops being meaningful to me.”
