The 7,500 square-foot store will feature numerous brands and the Safavieh Couture collection. Safavieh will open its newest retail location, at 150 Thompson Street in New York, on June 1. The store will feature brands such as Baker, Ralph Lauren, Thayer Coggin, Bernhardt Interiors, Glas Italia, American Leather, Lee Industries, Trica, Century, BDI, Phillips Collection, Hickory Chair, Visual Comfort, Global Views and Arteriors.
There will also be a large selection of rugs, Safavieh Couture—an exclusive 1,000-plus piece fashion-forward line of furniture, upholstery, lighting and accessories—and a design staff that will provide complimentary interior design service.
‘This new location is a dedication of Safavieh to provide New York City with the best and most beautiful modern furniture, rugs and accessories for homes all over the state,” said Darioush Yaraghi, Safavieh’s senior vice president and creative director.’
Over the past 40 years, Safavieh has grown from one showroom on Madison Avenue to 13 retail stores in the tri-state area with two million square feet of warehouse space and its own manufacturing facilities on three continents.
