New additions to the Simon Property-owned mall will include Suffolk Punch Brewing’s second location, and a new, state-of-the-art play area.
The redevelopment period will see extensive upgrades to the West Plaza, located adjacent to The Container Store and Dick’s Sporting Goods. Intending to offer a better shopping experience for both its loyal visitors and existing retailers, the newly-enhanced mall will be home to Suffolk Punch Brewing’s second location, inclusive of an open-air pavilion and situated next to a beautifully designed greenscape and stage.
Construction for new Suffolk Punch Brewing, which will anchor the West Plaza, is expected to begin in early 2022. It will feature a nearly 400 seat full-service taphouse, restaurant, and coffee bar. Two additional free-standing bars will also bring together over 20 craft beers, hand-made cocktails, house seltzers and wines.
